Game of Thrones: Season 5 Recap

Season 5 is probably the most negative season overall… I feel like all of our main players end on a bad note. I can only think about one person who is doing well currently and that’s Lord Bolton. The people I care about most are dead, not whole, or in precarious positions at the end of Season 5 and I really just want to get to Season 6 now.

Game of Thrones: Season 4 Recap

I wrapped up Season 4 the other day. As I mentioned in my previous recap, Season 4 is the highest rated season according to IMDB. It has 5 episodes rated 9.6 or higher, before this season no other season had more than 2. While it doesn’t have any of the top 4 episodes (Red Wedding, Season 5: Episode 7, Last 2 episodes of Season 6) but it does have several very strong moments. Quick review, then we’ll get into it.

Game of Thrones: Season 3 Recap

Season 3 was action packed. Important characters die, new alliances are formed, there are… weddings. The show has gotten better with each season and according to the IMDB reviews Season 4 may be the best season of them all. I’m looking forward to the next chapter.

Game of Thrones: Season 2 Recap

Season 2 picked up where Season 1 left off and quickly got my attention. I am starting to care about more characters and getting into the story as a whole. I enjoyed the war, the new players, and won’t miss anyone who was killed this season. On to season 3.

Game of Thrones: Season 1 Recap

As it stands there are many legendary shows and movies I have not watched up to this point. I’ve decided to make an effort to go back and watch some of these shows and movies and share my experiences on the site as I go along. I’m going to call this series “Better Late than Never” and give it its own tab on the menu.

Netflix Review: Ozark

Ozark is like Breaking Bad if the pace was tripled . . . and I think I’m being modest. There is not a single wasted episode in the series. Bad decisions have almost instantaneous consequences. As soon as you think you know where things are going you’re hit with another surprise. On top of this the performances by everyone in the cast are gripping. You’ll want to talk about this show with people.

Mavs Signing: Gian Clavell Profile

First Impression During my time watching Summer League Gian Clavell was a guy whose name I heard often. I particularly remember his clutch 3 against the Grizzlies to send a game to overtime. A quick search online for highlights brings up several clutch performance highlights so we’re talking about a guy who does not shy…

Mavs Signing: P.J. Dozier Profile

First Impression/Background Info PJ went to high school right down the road from me, then played 2 years of college ball at my alma mater so I am very familiar with who he is and how his game has developed. I was one of the many South Carolina fans who were stunned when he announced…

Mavs Signing: Maxi Kleber Profile

When I started watching film on Kleber my first thought was that I expected him to push Dwight Powell. Then as I watched more film on him… I thought he might actually be here to REPLACE Dwight Powell. Then I realized that Dwight Powell was supposed to be auditioning to be Dirk’s heir which means that Maximiliam Kleber would now be auditioning to be Dirk’s heir…

Rookie Watch: Vegas Summer League 2017

I know I’m late with this but at the suggestion of @IMGIBBS on twitter I’ve decided to put together a watch list for the rest of the Vegas Summer League.
